Remould your inner self...

Mudbath!

Clay as part of a detoxification process...

Clay has been used for centuries and by different cultures for cleansing the body of toxins.

It can be used either internally or externally.
It has a sort of built in intelligence and actively seeks out those parts other means cannot reach. There it prevents the growth of harmful bacteria and promotes regrowth of healthy tissue.

You could compare it to an extremely absorbant sort of sponge. Thing is not to let it get stuck on the way, so if constipation is a habit, you should change your ways!

Try clay poultices next time you get a splitting head ache, or a sore back - or why not soak in your own private mudpool in your bath?

Fine, sundried green clay has a very high adsorption rate, but with infants, elderly people, or those in very poor health it would be better to use white clay, which is milder.

A typical cleanse takes three weeks. Every morning you dissolve a teaspoon of clay (but remember that you can't use metal tools with clay!) in a glass of water and drink it before breakfast.

Alternatively, or if you want to start carefully, you can mix your drink at night before bedtime and then only drink up the water on waking, (leaving the clay at the bottom of the glass).

Some sources say that drinking your clay just before bedtime helps prevent constipation, though from the second week on there shouldn't be any problems.

Avoid combining clay with a fatty meal or taking it at the same time as medication.

As you start cleansing you could experience temporary discomforts (like dust flying around when you're spring cleaning)
e.g. head ache, tiredness, skinrash, bad dreams?
But most of these can be kept to a minimum by promoting their escape routes: massage your skin and tummy, drink plenty of water, get some exercise...

Take a break for a week to let your system do a bit of cleaning of its own and then round off the program with another week of clay

You take your car for regular check ups ? do your own system the same favor!
